Stories of Survival: Object, Image, Memory, a traveling exhibit from the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, will be up through the month of April. We hope you will join us at the reception on April 3, from 4-6:30 p.m.
Other Holocaust rememberance and genocide education events are scheduled throughout the month.

De-stress at the library. Take a break from studying with some fun crafts. Today, we have shrinkydink ornaments (you color them and then shrink them in the oven. It's fun!) and affirmational coloring sheets. Feel free to craft at the library or take on home... and take some candy while you're at it :)

New month, new display! December highlights the 1948 signing of the United Nation's "Universal Declaration of Human Rights" and showcases books on contemporary human rights issues. You can also read about Eleanor Roosevelt, who was the chair of the Human Rights Commission during the drafting of the declaration. She served as UN Representative from 1946 to 1953.
