What do you see?

Four quarters?

What do we see?

We see hope.

After speaking at an event to share more about what Rwandan students need as they go back to school, someone gave me these four quarters you see in my hand.

To many, this doesn’t seem like much.

But we couldn’t disagree more.

This wasn’t “just” a dollar.

It was generosity. It was sacrifice.

It was someone choosing to be part of changing a student’s future with what they had.

The amount isn’t what stayed with me.

The heart behind it did.

Too often we think generosity only matters when it’s large enough to impress someone. But every gift tells a story. Every act of obedience matters. Every dollar becomes part of something bigger when it’s placed in God’s hands.

These four quarters reminded me why we do this.

Not because everyone can give a lot, but because everyone can be part of hope.

If you’d like to help a student at Deep Light Fountain, our Rwanda 🇷🇼 partner, start the school year ready, we’d love to have you join us—whether it’s a dollar, a monthly gift, or simply sharing the story.

Every gift matters. ❤️

Freedom is a gift. What we do with it matters.

Today we’re thankful for the freedoms we enjoy and for the people who have sacrificed to protect them.

At Go2theNations, we believe every opportunity we’ve been given is an opportunity to serve. Whether it’s in our own community or across the world, we want our lives to reflect the love of Christ in practical ways.

As you celebrate with family and friends today, we pray your day is filled with joy, gratitude, and hope.

Happy Independence Day from all of us at Go2theNations. 🇺🇸🌍

If you’d like to be part of what God is doing through Go2theNations, we’d love to have you join us. Pray with us, share our mission, volunteer, or partner financially. Every act of faith helps make Jesus known.

Jesus didn’t die for comfort.
He died for people.

So we don’t stay where it’s easy.

We walk the roads—smooth and broken—
to reach the ones still waiting.

107 years old.

Not forgotten.
Not overlooked.
Still pursued by the love of Christ.

And that makes every step non-negotiable.
