Omaha's first of its kind outdoor fitness park () opened on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Elmwood Park with an opening ceremony featuring community leaders and equipment demonstrations. The outdoor fitness park is situated adjacent to a playground, allowing parents and guardians the ability to supervise their children and workout at the same time. This gym is still open with plenty of room for social distance. All that was needed was a cleaning of the points of contact. Keep fit and stay safe.
