While your costs keep rising, President Trump is setting up a taxpayer-funded pool worth up to $1.76 billion to reward political allies who claim they were victims of “weaponization” and “lawfare.”

Instead of letting courts decide cases fairly, the President wants the power to pick winners himself.

Candidates, supporters, and volunteers are invited to join the NDP Latino Caucus, Nebraska Democratic Party, and Douglas County Democrats - Nebraska in one of Omaha's oldest and most attended community festivals.
1) Walk with us as proud Democrats in the parade. It will be a first come, first serve entry so we will plan to be one of the first to walk. The staging area will be at 24th & D Street. Please be there by 9AM as the parade starts at 9:30AM. Candidates are encouraged to bring candy to give out, and wear campaign swag or bring campaign rally signs. We will also have special Cinco de May rally signs for those who want to wave.
2) Sign up for a 2-hour shift at our informational booth during the weekend. Come engage with community members as we register new voters, hand out candidate lit and resources, and hand out give-aways and play games with the kiddos. Candidates are encouraged to bring lit and engage with community members.
Come celebrate with the Latino community in South Omaha and enjoy delicious food, great company, and take in all the cultural vibes!
