It’s been a fun and engaging week in 4th grade! We were excited to welcome one of our valued parents, Mrs. Blood, who shared her knowledge of Native American history with our students. Students also brought their learning to life through a variety of interactive activities connected to their CKLA reading unit on the Middle Ages. We love seeing our students actively engaged in learning and exploring new topics!

We are extremely lucky to have such a dedicated, caring, fun, hard-working human in Ally. Mrs. Rider makes math intervention fun and engaging, standards focused, and helps all of her students gain confidence in themselves and their abilities. She is a trusted adult to so many in the building and we are so grateful to have her at Montclair! 💜

Let’s celebrate Ally, a Sunshine Squad honoree who goes above and beyond for students, staff, and our District!

As a Math Interventionist, Ally creates standards-aligned modules, diagnostic tools, and resources that help educators identify learning gaps and provide targeted support. She also collaborates with fellow interventionists to share ideas and materials that benefit students across Millard.

Her greatest impact may be in the way she makes math feel exciting and achievable. Students enjoy intervention, celebrate their progress, and grow in confidence along the way.

Thank you, Ally, for making a difference far beyond your classroom!

A special shoutout to one of our amazing resource paraprofessionals, Mrs. Frohardt, for arranging this fun opportunity!! She got her family mule and pony to Montclair for our younger students to see, pet, and learn more about as they explore their CKLA units around animals and animal classification.
