We Must Act Now;
No One Can Do It For Us.

Truly, our people are better than what some of us have always been projecting to the rest of the world on social media.

But who will believe us anymore if we suggest the contrary otherwise, after seeing the horrific atrocities some of us have been committing against their own country men, and women, boys, and girls and vulnerable elderly people here in South Sudan?

The only way to correct this tainted image, which portrays us as bad people who will never govern themselves, as predicted by our former rulers in Khartoum, is to show our true identity to the world by doing the right things at this critical time in our country.

We have to let everyone understand that South Sudan comprises 64 beautiful and mighty people who come from these 64 tribes. Most of these tribes want peace in South Sudan. We all can agree that the majority of these tribes have great hearts, and they are known for being hospitable. But just a few of us have caused great damage to such a reputation for all of us!

For this reason, therefore, we all need to step up and do something together in order to reverse this damaging behavior. We need to stand together and condemn all sorts of aggressive behavior and violence against our innocent and vulnerable civilians.

This is the only way for us to be able to restore the good image of our great people and build lasting peace and harmony among our people so that we can build a stable and prosperous nation.Peace!

We are longing for a lasting peace. Our people need true freedom and true peace; and we need them right now!

Our people have suffered enough, and it is our duty and obligation to come together so that we can alleviate the suffering of our innocent people! Because the lives of every citizen matter!

This is a task that must be done without favoritism or compromising the security and protection of our people. Our people need freedom of movement in their country. They need to farm their land and conduct their businesses without fear from anyone.

This is a crucial task that demands our collective efforts so that we can be able to overcome any obstacles that might impede the process of peace building and unification of our people.

I believe we can do this! What we need is a resilient spirit guided by a total commitment and unwavering patriotic sacrifices that would enable us to achieve this objective of building lasting peace and unity among our people.

This objective can be achieved by all means possible. I am counting on all of you, my fellow South Sudanese!

Our Decisions and Actions Are Indeed Against God

If what the Scriptures say in Genesis 1:26-27, is true, that we are created by God in His own image and likeness, then we are destroying the very image and likeness of God in ourselves. Such an act is not only against human rights and one another, but also against God Himself.

Our Nation Is Under A Cursed

Our nation is Cursed because of the constant killings and bloodshed of innocent lives!

It is very sad to hear all kinds of divisive arguments and shouting of doom to one's fellow human beings.

This confusion comes from the devil and his demonic forces that have invaded humans' hearts and minds. How can people who share so much together fail to realize their Commonalities if not done by the devil's schemes?

I failed to understand why Jaang/Jieng and Nuer always resorted to killing themselves and constantly shouting and insulting each other. Is this not a lack of knowledge of oneself? Because Jaang/Jieng and Nuer shared so many customs together.

Even words that Jaang/Jieng and Nuer used mean the same thing. For example, Jaang called Fire, Mac, and Nuer called it Mac, too. Jaang called human beings raan, and Nuer called them raan, too.

Moreover, there are still some common words that mean the same thing for both Nuer and Jaang/Jieng(Dinka) include: Water, eat, run, daughter, fish, hurt, mouth, etc. Not to forget to mention intermarriages among themselves. So, one wonders where exactly does this bitter hatred comes from?

For some of us who always talk of peace and unity, it is not that we are naive about the realities of human's weaknesses . But because we know that there is no other way for us humans to fix our problems without a call for peace and unity among people.

However, when people fail to abide by law and respect for God who gave them everything, that griefs the hearts. Even Mother Nature will continue to grieve, too.

Obviously, humanity has lost the sense of truth everywhere. This makes me wonder what the Creator of this world is saying? I don't want to put the words in God's mouth, but if humanity doesn't change the way they are treating themselves in this world, something will definitely occur as a result.

It is likely that it won't be long before God takes back his vineyard because human beings have failed to be faithful custodians of this habitat for all living beings.

I pray and seek God's immediate intervention in human affairs because we have failed to recognize and appreciate God's generous gifts to all of us in this world.

May God's kingdom come!

The Consequence Disunity and Division

In the course of history , we have heard of the nation's rising and falling. Some societies had disappeared from history. However, some of those nations were able to make significant contributions to the world and advancement of their societies and people.

For instance, the only nations that stood the test of time were those who realized the importance of unity and peace. They were able to change their barbarian way of life and adapt cooperation and respect for human dignity as well as abiding with the rule of law.

Those nations, even though they experimented with many societal trials, were able to make a turnaround around and became some of the greatest.

In addition, we have learned that social problems are not new to humanity. But those precious generations and rulers used to seek guidance from the Creator of all things during the time of their nation's crisis. But nowadays, leaders hardly pray for guidance from God before making critical decisions.

We read in the Scriptures that even kings used to put on sacks of clothes as a sign of confession and remorse before God because the people had committed sins against God. These examples teach us an important message about how the rulers who came before us behaved themselves before God. We are told that such rulers used to seek wise advice from the prophets and priests.

Moreover, we read in the Gospels, where Jesus Christ was addressing people who were engaged in all kinds of divisive arguments among themselves concerning the legitimacy of Jesus's teachings.

For example, β€œAnd Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, β€˜Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.’” -Matthew 12:25 ((KJV)

Therefore, my dear beloved country men, and women, these examples above are just a few thoughts that I want to share with you today because of the situation we are in now, in our country. It is our duty to make the right choice during these sorrowful and confusing times. My fellow South Sudanese people, we really need each other now more than ever. We have to alleviate the suffering of our people. No one else will do it for us. Please let us strive to work together for the sake of peace and unity of our people.

The stability of our nation requires our collective efforts. I believe that only our unity and mutual understanding will take us out of these chaotic situations that we are dealing with now. It is also our responsibility to choose unity over disunity and divisions because great nations are built by people who understand the importance of unity and peace.

This nation doesn't belong to one tribe or some tribes, it belongs to all of us. Preaching destruction against particular tribes or ethnic groups will never resolve the fundamental problems we are facing but will only lead to the fall and destruction of our people.

Our unity is the only way forward if we are to remain one nation in this geographical land map known as South Sudan. Which is now known as the Republic of South Sudan πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡Έ πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡Έ . Together, we can overcome our differences and build stable and viable communities across this rich and beautiful land.

What Has Gone Wrong With Our Reasoning in the Republic of South Sudan & The Sudan?

I'm still trying to figure out what exactly has gone wrong with human beings? And particularly, we the people of South Sudan, the Sudanese people in general, and the whole humanity at large.
Who should we blame for our inhumane mistakes?

We are quick to kill and destroy what we did not create, just because of indifferences fueled by hatred and politics!

Instead of seeking dialogue and mutual understanding, we rush to war,and then, after major losses of both human lives and properties, we think of peace talks just to buy time for the opportunists to get whatever they want and forget about the injustices done to the innocent lives!

When are we ever going to be civilized?
We are proud to use things that are being made by the citizens whose nations are advanced and civilized.

Yet we are destroying ourselves with the weapons we don't even make ourselves! What exactly has gone wrong with our thinking, my fellow South Sudanese?

Please take time to read and share this message. Because these questions are not just for the sake of chit chatting on social media or like any other mere questions; they are questions that we all have to try to find answers for, so that we can be able to think for ourselves, and work together for the sake of our nation, and people!

We have to remember this fact, no one else is going to come from anywhere on this planet, not even from heaven or from the grave, to get things done right for us, except by ourselves! We have to change our way of life, because it is not taking us anywhere!
