Join us for an engaging look at how the League of Women Voters has shaped global advocacy through its work with the United Nations. We’ll explore the League’s history on the world stage, how local voices influence international policy, and how YOU can get involved. You’ll hear directly from LWVGO’s Communications Director, Cleo, who served as a LWVUS delegate at this year’s UN Commission on the Status of Women. Whether you’re new to LWVGO or a longtime member, this session will connect big-picture impact to real opportunities for action.

Join us on Tuesday, May 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the UNO Community Engagement Center (CEC) in Rooms 230/231 for a Q&A with Mayor Ewing. We are asking you to send in your questions by May 17. This is your chance to engage our new mayor on subjects like the budget, the streetcar, homeless policies and much more. Let’s show the Mayor the LWVGO is a force in Omaha. Come out let your voices be heard!
