We're excited to announce an opportunity to join the incredible team at the Douglas County Health Department! We're on the hunt for a passionate and skilled Public Health Nurse to fill a vital role in our Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Clinic.
One of our fantastic nurses was recently promoted (yay!) and we now need someone special to take their place in this important role.

📝 Position Highlights:
Test & treat STIs
Educate & empower clients with vital STI knowledge
Vaccinate against preventable diseases
Public Health Emergency Response – be a champion in times of crisis!
Full-time position with competitive salary & benefits
No on-call shifts, no holiday shifts, no overnight shifts – just great hours with an amazing team!
📅 Anticipated Schedule:
Tues/Wed: 12pm – 8:30pm
Thurs: 10am – 6:30pm or 12pm – 8:30pm
Fri/Sat: 8am – 4:30pm
💡 Key Requirements:
BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) or higher
RN license in Nebraska
A genuine passion for public health and nursing
