While Congressman Don Bacon, Senator Pete Ricketts, Senator Deb Fischer rush to celebrate a single arrest in Omaha, their support for the so-called “Big, Beautiful Bill” exposes them as disingenuous.
You cannot claim to protect our communities while voting for legislation that strips resources from working families, criminalizes immigrants, and redistributes wealth to the top. The Big, Beautiful Bill is not about safety—it’s about control, cruelty, and cutting out the people who make Nebraska work.
