Find thousands of 50¢ paperbacks and $1.50 hardcover books on our shelves! Fiction and non-fiction. Mysteries, science fiction, romance, biographies, self help, westerns, true crime, thrillers… Young adult and children’s books are also just $.50 each, not to mention all of the bargain books to be found in the clearance area.

We never know what will be donated, but sometimes we get full sets of encyclopedias, or a complete book series, or collectible items with higher value, and it’s hard to put them out at regular price.

So Darlene created the “Let’s Make a Deal” shelf. The items pictured will be for sale on Saturday, May 16th. We’ll be open from 10am to 3pm in the lower level of Swanson Library if you’d like to take a closer look.

A Monster Musume and a Rave Master manga book series, an encyclopedia set from 1935, a Yankees magazine, a dictionary set of musicians and music, and a young folks book treasury set.

It was a bit slower at the used book sale today, but everyone left happy. Our youngest reader couldn’t wait to start reading their book.
