June is a busy month for us as a state chapter as we are visiting our member CAC to connect with and collaborate with them on any needs they may have. Yesterday, we visited Destiny, McKenna, Jacey, Julissa, and the rest of First Light Child Advocacy Center in Grand Island. First Light operates with a small though mighty team that displays an admirable strong sense of connection – both in the work being done and how the team supports one another. If you'd like to support them, their Fore The Kids Golf Classic tournament is happening later this month.

Yesterday we visited our member CAC, BraveBe Child Advocacy Center. Thanks to the wonderful BraveBe staff who took the time to connect with us and give us a tour of their center. BraveBe does incredible work serving children all throughout 17 counties in Southeast Nebraska. Their hard work and dedication in serving Nebraska children and families is essential to our core mission and highly appreciated. We look forward to our continued collaboration.
