Free mulch!

The City of Omaha Parks & Recreation is excited to announce FREE MULCH, offering residents an easy way to enhance their landscapes while promoting sustainability.

Mulch will be available to City of Omaha residents only at no cost while supplies last. This initiative helps recycle community tree debris into a valuable resource for gardens, trees and green spaces across Omaha.

To participate in the free mulch giveaway, residents must provide proof of residency, such as a valid ID or recent utility bill. This program is exclusively for City of Omaha residents – contractors are not eligible. Participants must also bring their own hand loading equipment, such as shovels, pitchforks, etc., to load the mulch, no commercial equipment allowed.
