Results for Douglas Co. mail-in ballots to be released on Friday, as focus grows on primary for Blue Dot seat Douglas County has about 10,000 mail-in ballots left to count and results are expected Friday. Powell and Cavanaugh are in a close race to be the Dems' nominee for the 2nd Congressional District seat.

Early voting ballots must be returned to an official ballot drop box by 8 PM.
