Thank you, Huckleberry Hollow Farm, for bringing hope and healing to the children at Open Door Mission each week. Thanks to your pet therapy program, even our youngest guests are learning healthy ways to cope with trauma, build trust, and find joy.

Now THIS is going the extra mile! ❤️

Our friends at WoodmenLife stopped by to serve in our kitchen, something they faithfully do every month, and they brought a special gift with them!

Their generous donation will help us provide food during a time when shortages are affecting us and many others in our community.

Thank you, Amanda, Deidre, and the entire WoodmenLife team. We’re grateful not only for the time you give, but for the way you continue to step up for our guests and our community.

We couldn’t do this without people like you!

Just in time for the chill! ❄️😊

There’s nothing better than timely kindness! Today, as the cold weather made its sudden entrance, we were able to pass out brand-new winter caps to the women at the Lydia House.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to the generous donor behind this bulk donation. You didn't just give us warm hats—you brought warmth, comfort, and bright smiles to our day!

Together, we make sure no one faces the cold alone. Thank you for being such a vital part of our community! 💖

This was the week of student volunteer POWER! First we had a focused group from Skutt Catholic High help us sort our clothing accessories. Then we had Lewis and Clark Middle School Builder's Club help us organize our upstairs at Timberlake Outreach, making a space for items for our Parenting Program. Then we had 30 National Honor Society volunteers from Millard North swoop in with their determination and drive, finishing up our sorting of hats and gloves. Thank you students and staff for helping us take care of our people living in shelter and our neighbors experiencing struggles. Every little bit of help makes a difference!💜
