National 4-H Week Alumni Spotlight 💚🍀
As we celebrate National 4-H Week, we're excited to highlight Brenda Hausman-Miller, DDS, a proud Monona County 4-H alumna who is making a difference in her community through her career in dentistry!
Brenda's favorite 4-H memories come from participating in Share-the-Fun, where she and fellow club members spent countless hours practicing skits that entertained audiences and earned multiple opportunities to perform at the Iowa State Fair.
She credits 4-H with helping shape both her passion for service and the confidence she uses every day in her profession. Through citizenship projects, project interviews, Share-the-Fun performances, and club leadership roles, she learned the value of helping others and developed strong communication skills.
"4-H helped build my confidence. Whether it was talking about my projects with a judge, performing in a skit, or running a business meeting, I gained confidence in my ability to interact with others. This is a vital skill that helps me every day as a dentist working with patients and staff."
