Are you interested in airplanes, flying, rocketry, the military, earning rank and becoming a leader? Do you like outdoor activities and helping others? Then the Civil Air Patrol may be for you. The local unit of the Civil Air Patrol is accepting new members. You can find out more about this exciting program on Monday October 26th during your lunch period. Flyers are available in the office to take home explaining the Monday October 26th meeting during your lunch period. Be sure to pick one up. The flyer will answer questions about what Civil Air Patrol is, and have a phone number for questions you or your parents may have. See you on Monday the 26th.
Due to the power outage on Friday...there will be NO popcorn Friday in October. Save your tickets for November's Popcorn Friday.
Another great day of racing for our Wildcats, with six personal bests, two medalists, and some strong performances across the team!
Madelyn Mullins led the girls with an outstanding 5th-place finish (13:20.6), earning another medal!
Lilly Louden continued to show what she's capable of, earning a medal with a strong 14:57.4! It's great seeing her talent shine through again!
Hayden Jackson led the boys with a new personal best of 14:00.6!
Congratulations to Caleb LaBeau, Zayne Johnstone, Raymond Platts, Cameron Gast, and Lincoln Chamberlain, who all joined Hayden in setting new personal bests!
Great efforts from Hadley Schaefer, Lucy Kormos, Wyatt Lowe, and Justin Kirchner as well!
Proud of the work these kids have put in and the progress they've made this season!
Go Wildcats!

Smile on Wheels will be coming up soon. If you are interested in this free opportunity to get your teeth cleaned, get your parent or Guardian signed form to the office by Friday.
Picture Day is Wednesday! If you have lost your picture form and would like a new one, we have a very limited amount in the office you can pick one up. Or if you are in need of a Spanish form, we have a few of them also.
October is here, and that means it's time for Socktober! Throughout the month of October, Onsted Middle School will be collecting new pairs of socks to help those in need in our community.
Our building goal this year is 2,026 new pairs of socks. Every pair makes a difference, so let's work together to reach our goal!
Simply bring your new socks to your Advisory teacher anytime during the month of October. As a thank-you for helping others, every student who donates will receive a PBIS ticket from their teacher.
There's even more! At the end of the collection, Student Voice will hold a special drawing for everyone who donated at least one new pair of socks, giving you a chance to win a prize while making a difference.
Let's show what it means to be Wildcats by helping keep others warm this fall. Together, we can reach our goal of 2,026 pairs of socks!
