***SECURE TRASH CARTS IN ADVANCE OF SEVERE WEATHER***

With severe weather expected to impact our area, please take precautions to secure your trash carts.

By this afternoon, please bring your trash carts away from the roadside and into a secure location, whether they are full or empty. Heavy rain and strong winds may cause unsecured carts to blow into roadways, creating safety hazards and potential property damage.

***Meridian Waste will be running Friday, Oct. 9, routes as scheduled.***

Meridian is also monitoring conditions that may impact trash collection on Monday. Depending on storm conditions, routes may experience delayed start times or service interruptions due to downed trees, power lines, flooding, or washed-out roads. The safety of customers, employees, and communities is a top priority. Updates will be provided as conditions develop and any service impacts are confirmed.

**MERIDIAN LABOR DAY COLLECTION SCHEDULE***

Meridian Waste will be closed Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.

All collection services will operate on a one-day delay for the remainder of the week. Please have your residential cart curbside and ready for collection on your adjusted service day.
