Orange Beach Elementary School Orange Beach Elementary School is Pre-K through 6th grade and is located in Orange Beach, Alabama. This accreditation was renewed in 2004.

History: Orange Beach Elementary School was opened on the present site in August 1997. During the years from 1910 to 1914, Orange Beach had a one-room schoolhouse. That building is now registered as a National Historic Site and presently serves as the Indian and Sea Museum of Orange Beach. Orange Beach Elementary School received its initial accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in 1998. Orange Beach Elementary completed construction of an environmental learning center called the Sea, Sand & Stars Learning Center in 2007. Sea, Sand & Stars features five teaching stations inside and five teaching stations outside along an elevated boardwalk. A planetarium, a climate-controlled weather station, a technology laboratory, a 5,000-gallon saltwater aquarium, and a ‘touch tank’ are all part of the facility. The facility was dedicated and renamed as Steven W. Baker Sea, Sand, & Stars, Science and Nature Center on September 29, 2010. On October 14, 2011 the Steven W. Baker Sea, Sand, & Stars, Science and Nature Center was dedicated as an Alabama Wildlife Federation Outdoor Classroom.

✨ Beginning Band Student Spotlight ✨
Our next Band Student of the Week goes to Carys Fogg! Carys may be one of the quietest students in class, but her thoughtfulness and dedication shine through in the way she learns and performs on her clarinet. Even though she joined us a little later than others, she has made wonderful progress and continues to grow as a musician. Carys consistently turns in her assignments on time and shows an impressive understanding of challenging musical concepts. Her hard work, responsibility, and quiet determination are wonderful examples of what it means to be a successful musician. We are so proud of you and excited to watch you continue to grow!
Give it up for Carys! 👏🏽🎶

Mrs.Reeves’ 4th grade QUEST students enjoyed their time at the Wind and Water Center. They discussed the importance of clean water and learned how to test all of the different elements to water quality. They also got a chance to work on their photography skills and experiment with the new underwater drone. 💧🌊
