Pawsome mews!

Pawsome mews!

We are grateful to share that Coastal Cat Sanctuary weathered the storm with very little damage. While we were without power for approximately 15 hours, all of our residents remained safe, and we are thankful to be getting back to normal.

A huge thank you to our local power crews for their hard work and dedication in restoring power so quickly. We know countless hours were spent responding throughout the community, and we truly appreciate all they do.

While we were fortunate, our hearts are with the rescues, shelters, sanctuaries, and animal welfare organizations to the east of us that may have experienced a much greater impact from the storm. We are keeping them, their volunteers, staff, and the animals in their care in our thoughts and hoping for safety, strength, and a speedy recovery.

Thank you to everyone who checked on us, sent messages, and kept the animals in your thoughts. We are incredibly grateful for this community and for another reminder that, even during difficult weather, compassion and kindness shine through. ❤️🐾

So glad to hear!

Zoo Storm Update
We’re glad to share that the Zoo and all of our animals are safe and sound. Early assessments show only limb, branch, and leaf debris around the grounds — nothing more serious, and we are truly grateful for that.
Our thoughts and heartfelt concern go out to the parts of our community that faced much harder impacts from this storm. We’re holding you close and standing with you as recovery begins.
