If you pass by the County Courthouse in the next few weeks, you’ll no-doubt see the display for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This case is one that sticks with me. I took the initial Missing Persons report for Sugie Vasquez when I was a young officer at Orange PD. If you see something—say something.

Parents, as we prepare for the first home game of the season, please be advised that students 8th grade and under must be accompanied by an adult to enter the stadium. Children who are not accompanied by an adult will not be allowed into the stadium. Students 8th grade and under must sit with their parent/guardian during the game.

Only WOSHS students will be allowed into the game without an adult. For their safety, students must be picked up promptly after the game. Thank you for your cooperation and let's have a great season Mustangs!

Good morning. I’ve often given information about scammers. They are ruthless, relentless and creative.

I recently learned of this tactic…The scammers will request a Law Enforcement agency do a “welfare check” on a potential victim. Then, the scammers call the victim to make their demands and threaten the victims with jail. The trick is—the scammers want Law Enforcement to arrive while still in contact with the victim to intensify the urgency to pay immediately.
