OCRC Stands with Doug Ollivant! 🇺🇸

Our Republican candidate for Virginia’s 7th Congressional District, retired Army Lt. Col. Ollivant , shared a personal health update on Monday. He has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and is beginning treatment under an optimal medical plan.

True to his character as a soldier, Doug is tackling this fight head-on. As he clearly stated, he remains fully committed to fighting for Virginia's 7th District.

The entire Orange County Republican Committee stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Doug, his wife Sabrina, and their family.

Two Parties. One Community. One Pantry. 🥫🇺🇸

Politics gets passionate, but when it comes to supporting our neighbors in Orange County, we stand together.

This Election Day (Tuesday, November 3), the Orange County Republican Committee and Orange County Democratic Committee are teaming up for a friendly competition to fill the shelves at the Love Outreach Food Pantry in Orange!

How it works:

1. Grab a few non-perishable food items on your way out the door.

2.Drop them off at our OCRC table at your local polling precinct when you go to vote.

3. Everything collected will be weighed and donated directly to Love Outreach!

Let’s show up, make our voices heard at the ballot box, and prove that Orange County gives back! 💪

🗓️ Date: Tuesday, November 3 (Polls open 6 AM – 7 PM)
📍 Where: Your regular voting precinct
🛒 Most Needed Items: Canned meats (tuna/chicken), peanut butter, canned veggies/fruit, soups, beans, pasta sauce, and cereal.

Making his way to the BIG LEAGUE!

FROM ORANGE COUNTY TO THE NEW YORK YANKEES!

We are proud to recognize Orange County High School graduate and Rhoadesville native Bradley Hanner as he takes another major step in his baseball career!

Bradley was added today to the New York Yankees’ 40-man roster and signed to a Major League contract. The right-handed relief pitcher has worked his way through professional baseball since being selected in the 2019 MLB Draft.

For our community, this one hits close to home. Bradley grew up right here in Orange County, graduated from Orange County High School, and is now just one call away from Skipper Aaron Boone calling his number from the bullpen to take the mound in Major League Baseball.

Congratulations, Bradley! Orange County is proud of you, and we’ll be cheering you on as you continue chasing the dream!

Sgt. Christian Amos and his K9 partner, Kyro, will certainly be cheering you on while patrolling the OC. Sorry we can’t loan Amos out to play first base for you again like the old high school days. He’s got a different uniform to wear these days!

We are deeply saddened by the tragic accident yesterday afternoon that resulted in serious injuries and the loss of a life.

Our hearts and prayers are with everyone affected, especially the victims, their families, friends, and the first responders who answered the call with courage and compassion.
