It's National Library Week and patrons are sharing the reasons they love their library. If you are stopping by this week, you too can share your thoughts about the wonderful community resource that is the Orangvale Branch of the Sacramento Public Library! See YOU at the library!

Mark your calendar! The Quarterly Small Business Workshop will be happening Tuesday, October 22nd at 10:00 am in the Jane Wise Community Room of the Orangevale Library! Hosted by the Orangevale Chamber of Commerce, it's a must for existing small businesses and those in the planning stages.

To the shoppers who lined up on a hot morning, then shopped til they dropped and to the volunteers who carted in boxes, unpacked and set up and then, amazingly, packed up the leftovers, the Friends of the Orangevale Library would like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU! This successful sale wouldn't happen without each and every one of you. Can't wait to do it again next year, and in the meantime, hope to see you in the library and our Book Store!

Big shout out to Troops 310 & 311, Boy and Girl scouts! What a great way to support your community: thanks!

Prom Drive Give-a-way

Saturday, April 13, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Jane Wise Community Room

Teens ages 13 to 19 are invited to find the perfect outfit for prom. With the help of community donations, we are giving away gently used formalwear including dresses, suits, shoes, accessories, and other attire.

A few tips:
Wear under-clothing like sports bras, leotards, etc., as there is limited privacy to try on clothes
Please don’t wear makeup when trying on items
Adults are welcome to accompany shoppers, but only teens may take items home
