Get out and VOTE tomorrow!!

If you haven't voted yet, tomorrow is the day. Polls are open 6 AM to 9 PM.

Make a plan tonight: when you'll go, how you'll get there, and who you're bringing. On Election Day you vote at your assigned site, which may not be where you voted early. Check it here: voterlookup.elections.ny.gov

On the ballot: Zachary Beaudoin, County Legislator, on the Democratic and Working Families lines.

If you already voted, thank you. Bring one neighbor tomorrow. If you're still deciding, read both of our answers to the Buffalo News: mrf.lu/2vnFK

Zach grew up in the Southtown’s and truly understands the challenges the people in this district are facing.
He’s running on affordability, transparency, and accountability and is going to fight for OP and all the towns in District 11!

Another great insight from Zach Beaudoin for Erie County Legislature, District 11! He continues to show great examples of how he will fight for the voters in Erie County District 11 … and his opponent Scott Honor will not!

Zach is looking out for the residents of this town! Remember Early Voting starts October 24!!

Make your voice heard!

Gas prices are hurting families across the Southtowns. AAA says local prices are up 39% from last October, and I hear about it at every door I knock on.

My opponent says he'll cap the county's sales tax on gas. But back home on the Orchard Park Town Board, he voted to raise the tax levy, in a proposed budget that increases it by about 8%. You can't campaign on cutting taxes in one place while raising them in another.

Voters also deserve the full picture on that billboard. Erie County isn't alone at the top: Oneida County, Rome and Utica charge the same 4.75% local rate on fuel. And the county tax isn't what's driving prices up. Of the roughly $1.22 jump since last year, about 6 cents is county sales tax. The rest is crude oil.

Capping the county tax isn't a new idea either. Erie County did it in 2022, proposed by the County Executive and passed unanimously by the Legislature. It saved drivers about 11 cents a gallon.

If we cap the gas tax again, let's do it right: make sure the savings actually reach drivers at the pump, and be honest about what it costs the county budget. That's the kind of straight talk I'll bring to the Legislature.
