Reminder: Downtown Oregon City Association’s annual trick or treating event will take place on Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31 from 4-6 p.m. The event has grown in popularity over the years with large amounts of families attending, so to help ensure pedestrian safety and not require traffic closures in the area, only the signaled crosswalks at 99 and Main and 7th Main will be open. If driving in the area on Halloween, please pay extra attention as our families visit our local businesses on Halloween.

To our neighbors in Bend, Oregon. I am a former resident of Bend and I am heartbroken.
The residents of Oregon City stand with our neighbors in Bend. We send our sympathy and condolences. We all suffer from this hateful act of violence. We stand in support of you- the families, staff and students of Silver Rail Elementary School.
Our hearts are broken- hold tight to your loved ones❤️😢🎂

With ballots hitting mailboxes soon, now is a good time to remind everyone of the secure ballot drop box located here at City Hall (625 Center St.)
The easiest way to access the drop box is to use the High St. entrance behind City Hall and use the drive up slot, and then exit on Center St. Do not attempt to drive down the High St. entrance from Center, as it is one way.

Parks and Recreation staff presented some potential options for a new aquatic/recreation facility during the City Commission work session this week. These options would be made possible by a partnership with Clackamas Community College after the two entities have been examining the possibility of using vacant space on the campus if the City were to replace the 60 year old pool in the coming years. There will be an open house on Oct. 28 to discuss the options. More information on time and Zoom links will be posted at this website when available: https://www.orcity.org/3541/Aquatics-and-Recreation-Center-Future-Pl
