The Ogle County Community Mental Health (708) Board is now accepting applications for a board member to fill a vacant seat. For information please contact: Justine at [email protected] or 815.238.1829

This is a volunteer position. Applicants must reside in Ogle County, be 18 years of age or older and be completely apart and impartial from any of the following organizations.

Contact the 708 Board or fill out an application at the Ogle County Clerk’s office.

Meetings:
Attend meetings the first Thursday of the month at 7:30 am. No meetings are held in January, March, June and July. Funding Hearing meetings are held in May and there are a couple.

Duties:
As a board member you over see the financial needs of Agencies serving the mental health community for Ogle County that is funded through tax dollars. It is a very rewarding position as you stay up to date on services being provided. Agencies represent people with all different types of needs, including but not limited to mental health issues, developmental disability, substance abuse or people that require psychological counseling.
