🚒 Huge thanks to our Orem Fire Wildland Team! 🌲🔥
Due to their stellar reputation, our crew was one of two crews selected to pre-stage by the State just days before the Iron Fire broke out. They made a heroic initial stand in Eureka, saving homes in what Captain Hickman called “one heck of a fire fight.”

The Crew: Capt. Mike Hickman, Eng. Brandon Prestwich, Eng. Jared Rosquist, and Eng. Dylan Burgal.

Next Up: They’ve been reassigned to the fast-growing, nearing 94k-acre Cottonwood Fire in Beaver, UT, and will be deployed until July 3rd.
Shoutout also to Division Chief Derek Spencer, serving as Medical Unit Leader Trainee at the Iron Fire—a new role showcasing OFD’s elite capabilities.

Stay safe, gentlemen. Orem is incredibly proud of you! ❤️🙌

Today, members of the Orem Fire Department had the distinct honor of celebrating the life and legacy of retired Firefighter/Paramedic Dan Bishop.
Dan dedicated 23 years of selfless service to the citizens of Orem before his retirement in 2003. For over two decades, he protected our community with bravery, compassion, and professionalism—leaving behind a standard of excellence that our department still carries forward today.

Thank you for your service and your lasting legacy, Dan. Rest in peace, brother. 🚒❤️
