If you love your American Legion Post....Educate yourselves!
Seek out your Post, Department and National American Legion Bylaws and Operating Guidelines. Keep records of what you find. You'll thank me later. Hold yourselves and your Post accountable. If you're going to do it, do it by the book. (Guidelines) If anyone has an issue with doing it by the book, you might have bigger problems in your post. You may need to escalate to your District and/or Department Executive Board.
