Had the opportunity to attend, with my colleagues from the Orange County Board of County Commissioners, and the Moroccan American community, the Green March Celebration Night. Amazing party here in Orlando to celebrate the Golden 50th Anniversary of "The Great Moroccan Green Marche", through which the Kingdom of Morocco recovered its Sahara territory from Spain, in 1975.

🎉 District 1, we did it!! 🎉
I’m beyond thrilled and humbled to announce that I will be your next Orlando District 1 City Commissioner! This win isn’t just mine, it belongs to every volunteer, supporter, and neighbor who believed in our vision for a stronger, more connected community.
Thank you to everyone who knocked doors, made calls, shared our message, and cast their vote, your dedication made this moment possible.
I want to also thank the other three candidates, Jim Gray, Sunshine Grund, and Manny Acosta for running spirited campaigns.
Healthy competition challenges us, makes us better, and inspires us to think bigger about the future of our district.
This campaign was about bringing positive change and ensuring every voice in District 1 is heard. It was about you. Now, the real work begins, and I’m committed to serving with integrity, passion, and focus on building a better future for Orlando.
Here’s to what we’ll accomplish together. Let’s get to work!

Great opportunity to come out and support our Veterans. See you this Saturday right here in Lake Nona!
The 26th Annual City of Orlando Veterans Day Parade is heading to Lake Nona!
Join Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Veterans Advisory Council on Saturday, November 8 at 11 a.m. as we honor those who have served our nation.
This year’s theme, “Service to our Nation,” recognizes the dedication and sacrifice of our military service members, past and present.
The parade kicks off at Laureate Park Elementary School and ends at Lake Nona Town Center. After the parade, stick around for more family fun, including a formal honor guard presentation, live performances, appearances by special guests, and remarks from local elected officials.
