The City of Orlando - Government has an opening for a Contracts Administrator - FPR. This position performs professional and technical work in the Families, Parks, and Recreation Department. In addition to overseeing the hiring, training, disciplining, development, and performance appraisals of FPR’s contract administration team, this position is responsible for the development and oversight of systems for issuing and managing hundreds of contracts for program services issued by FPR and its 2 non-profit organizations each year. With support from her/his staff, the person in this position manages the following operations: developing of contract language; overseeing contractor reporting to ensure adherence to terms; administering payments to contractors; ensuring that grant-funded contracts comply with grant requirements; and training and technical support for FPR program staff who work with contractors to ensure compliance/adherence to procedures. This job is located in the Field Operations Division of the Orlando Fire Department (OFD) and is under the general supervision of the Company Commander.
