We must make it known that the people of Central Florida do not stand for this discriminatory and unconstitutional bill! We will not be silent!

Attacks on q***r and trans people are increasing under the GOP! Anti-LGBTQ bills are passing through the legislature quickly with lasting consequences! We must understand what these bills mean for q***r and trans people in Florida, and plan ways to stand up and fight back against them!

The state of Florida is continuing their full out assault on trans rights by unilaterally denying all changes to gender markers for drivers license. Bills like HB1639 and HB1233 want to codify this practice into law, taking away identification documents from q***r and trans people that the state does no deem truthful.

The movement against HB1639 continues to grow! Join OGE and cosponsors tomorrow at Rep. Bankson’s office to demand he rescind HB1639 and stand with the q***r and trans people of Florida! Hate has no place in Central Florida!

We stand in unwavering solidarity with the people of Palestine and demand an immediate ceasefire. As a q***r led organization, we understand that our identities and israeli pinkwashing cannot be used to justify genocide. No one is free until we are all free!

HB1639 passed its first committee stop but that does notmean we stop fighting back! We must continue applying pressure to Rep. Bankson! Join OGE in emailing the Representative and tell him how his constituents do not stand behind this hateful discriminatory bill. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Even though or the Trans Erasure Bill has passed through it’s first committee, we cannot stop fighting! Join OGE for a protest this Friday at Rep. Bankson’s Apopka office to demand he rescind HB1639! Changing gender markers to s*x markers on official identification is a clear attack on the q***r and trans community. Identification is a right for all! Stop the attacks on q***r and trans people!

HB1639, otherwise known as the Trans Erasure Bill, is being heard by the House Subcommittee on Health Innovation TODAY at 3PM.

Flood the phone lines of bill sponsor Rep. Bankson demanding he and stop the attacks on the q***r and trans community of Florida. Call in and support the Democratic Subcommittee members and urge them to vote NO on HB 1639 and demand on trans rights in Florida!
