🚦 Pacific, Washington is taking action to reduce speeding with advanced traffic safety technology from NovoaGlobal®. NovoaGlobal’s traffic safety cameras are now active in designated speed zones, helping the City encourage safer driving in areas where pedestrians, children, and families may be especially vulnerable. The program begins with a 30-day warning period, allowing drivers to become familiar with the new enforcement locations before payable Notices of Infraction are issued.

Initial cameras are located along 3rd Avenue SW near Interurban Trail Park, with additional school zone cameras planned near Alpac Elementary School.

Pacific, WA launches new Photo Enforcement Program to reduce speeding where pedestrians and children are most vulnerable.

New Haven, Connecticut, is taking action to improve traffic safety with a new photo enforcement program, using advanced technology from NovoaGlobal. The cameras focus on reducing red-light violations and dangerous speeding in school zones, high-risk intersections, and other areas with significant pedestrian activity.

The program supports New Haven’s broader Vision Zero commitment to preventing traffic fatalities and serious injuries by encouraging drivers to stop at red lights and obey posted speed limits.

Violations are civil infractions and do not result in points on a driver’s license or reporting to insurance providers. Every potential violation is reviewed by a certified technician and verified by a New Haven Police Officer before a citation is processed.

As communities nationwide recognize , NovoaGlobal® is highlighting Railroad-Safe®, advanced highway-rail grade crossing photo enforcement technology designed to detect dangerous driving behavior and improve safety.

Railroad-Safe® can be deployed in portable or fixed configurations without intrusive integration into railroad warning equipment. The technology supports enforcement and education by identifying behaviors such as driving around activated gates, failing to stop, or entering a crossing without enough room to safely clear the tracks.

In Orlando, Florida, NovoaGlobal’s technology was used in a photo-enforcement driver education program at the East Princeton Street railroad crossing. A U.S. DOT Volpe Center evaluation, sponsored by the Federal Railroad Administration, found the program significantly reduced violations, with the overall violation rate decreasing 17.2% after 20 months.

NovoaGlobal’s railroad safety technology has also been deployed along Florida’s Brightline corridor to help address dangerous behavior at highway-rail grade crossings.

🚦 The Town of Bladensburg, Maryland, is enhancing intersection safety with new stop sign enforcement technology from NovoaGlobal®. The program begins with a 15-day warning phase, giving drivers time to adjust their driving habits before payable citations are issued. During this period, drivers who fail to make a complete stop may receive a warning notice by mail with no monetary penalty.
📍 Initial Enforcement Locations: • 57th Ave @ 58th Ave – Northbound • Tilden Rd @ 53rd Pl – Eastbound • 57th Ave @ Emerson St, North Intersection – Westbound
Following the warning period, violations may result in a $40 civil fine. Citations do not add points to a driver’s license and are not reported to insurance companies.
“The overall goal of our Stop Sign Camera Enforcement Program is to reduce the number of fatalities, serious injuries, and property damage resulting from traffic collisions,” said Interim Chief Daniel Frishkorn.
The program is designed to encourage complete stops, improve driver awareness, and help protect motorists and pedestrians throughout Bladensburg.

🚸 Woodinville, WA Enhances Student Safety with New School Speed Enforcement Program using NovoaGlobal technology. The City of Woodinville is taking action to encourage safer driving and protect students and pedestrians with a new school zone speed enforcement program along NE 195th Street near Woodinville High School and Woodin Elementary School. The program uses advanced photo enforcement technology from NovoaGlobal® to help curb dangerous speeding during school hours.

⚠️ A two-month warning period is now underway. During this educational phase, registered owners of vehicles exceeding the speed limit will receive a WARNING notice by mail—but no fine will be issued. Following the two-month warning period, payable notices will begin for verified violations.

The program follows a 2025 traffic study on NE 195th Street that found existing signage and flashing beacons were not consistently slowing traffic to safer speeds.

Every potential violation will be reviewed and authorized by a Woodinville Police Officer before a notice is mailed.
