Breaking Free From Leviathan Spirit: The Spirit Behind Chaos and Misunderstanding
By Deborah T. Iluyemi

A few minutes ago, I felt a nudge to write this teaching, be blessed as you read 👇

One thing believers must understand is that not every battle is physical.

There are spiritual operations that influence atmospheres, relationships, communication, emotions, and even how people perceive one another.
One operation many believers talk about is Leviathan.
The Bible mentions Leviathan in places like Job 41, Isaiah 27:1, and Psalms 74:14.

In Isaiah 27:1, the Bible says:
“In that day, the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent…”
One thing many believers associate with Leviathan is twisting.
Twisting conversations.
Twisting intentions.
Twisting communication.
Twisting relationships.
This is why there are people who constantly feel misunderstood no matter how carefully they try to explain themselves.
You say one thing and people hear another thing entirely.
You explain yourself and somehow it becomes more complicated.
You try to make peace and confusion increases.
There are people reading this and you have genuinely been wondering: “Why am I always misunderstood?”
Now let me say this carefully.
Not every misunderstanding is spiritual.
Sometimes people simply lack communication skills, emotional maturity, wisdom, patience, or healing.
But there are also moments where confusion becomes repetitive, strange, divisive, and emotionally exhausting.
This is why discernment matters.
The enemy loves confusion because confusion creates division.
Division destroys trust.
Division destroys relationships.
Division destroys unity.
The Bible says in James 3:16:
“For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.”
This scripture is powerful because it shows that confusion is not neutral.
Where confusion constantly exists, there is usually deeper spiritual and emotional disorder underneath.
This is why environments filled with jealousy, offense, gossip, pride, competition, and strife often become chaotic emotionally and spiritually.
One thing you will notice around this kind of operation is disorder.
People become suspicious unnecessarily.
Conversations become emotionally charged.
Misunderstanding increases.
Offense increases.
People begin to assume instead of communicate.
And sometimes people become trapped in cycles of constantly explaining themselves while still being misunderstood.
Another thing associated with Leviathan is pride.
The Bible says in Job 41:34:
“He beholds every high thing; He is king over all the children of pride.”
Pride is dangerous spiritually.
Pride resists correction.
Pride resists accountability.
Pride keeps people trapped in offense.
Pride makes reconciliation difficult because everyone wants to be right instead of seeking peace.
This is why many relationships break down unnecessarily.
People stop listening.
People become defensive.
People become offended quickly.
People twist conversations through hurt and pride.
And let me say this carefully.
The enemy also takes advantage of emotional wounds.
Some people interpret everything through rejection, trauma, insecurity, abandonment, or pain.
This is why emotional healing matters spiritually.
Because wounded people sometimes hear through wounds instead of wisdom.
Someone corrects them and they hear rejection.
Someone asks a question and they hear accusation.
Someone disagrees with them and they feel attacked.
This is why healing and discernment must work together.
Another thing believers must understand is this:
The enemy thrives where there is:
Gossip
Pride
Offense
Unforgiveness
Jealousy
Competition
Emotional instability
Strife
Bitterness
The Bible says in Proverbs 6:16-19:
“These six things the Lord hates… one who sows discord among brethren.”
Discord is serious spiritually because division destroys unity.
This is why believers must guard their hearts carefully.
The Bible says in Proverbs 4:23:
“Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”
Your heart matters spiritually because whatever controls your heart eventually affects your words, relationships, discernment, and reactions.
Another thing believers must understand is that deliverance is not just about prayer.
Freedom also requires transformation.
You cannot constantly entertain gossip and expect peace.
You cannot constantly feed offense and expect healthy relationships.
You cannot remain emotionally unhealed and expect clarity in communication.
This is why renewing your mind matters.
The Bible says in Romans 12:2:
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”
Transformation affects how you think, respond, interpret situations, and handle people.
Another important thing is intimacy with God.
Some people are constantly surrounded by confusion because they are disconnected from prayer, God’s Word, and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Prayerlessness weakens discernment.
Lack of God’s Word weakens wisdom.
Emotional instability weakens judgment.
This is why staying close to God matters deeply.
The Holy Spirit brings clarity.
The Holy Spirit exposes lies.
The Holy Spirit brings discernment and peace.
The Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7:
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
A sound mind matters spiritually.
God does not operate through confusion, chaos, instability, and constant emotional torment.
And hear this carefully:
Jesus Christ is greater than every operation of darkness.
The Bible says in Colossians 2:15:
“Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”
This means the victory of Christ is already established.
As believers, our focus should not become fear or obsession with darkness.
Our focus should be Christ.
Because the more rooted you are in God, the harder it becomes for confusion, pride, offense, emotional chaos, and manipulation to dominate your life.
If you constantly find yourself surrounded by confusion, broken communication, repeated offense, emotional exhaustion, and misunderstanding, ask the Lord for discernment.
Ask Him to reveal areas that need healing.
Ask Him to expose pride, bitterness, offense, insecurity, and emotional wounds.
Because sometimes the breakthrough is not just deliverance.
Sometimes the breakthrough is healing, wisdom, humility, maturity, and transformation.

Finally 👇
🛑 The enemy thrives in confusion and division.
🛑 Pride and offense destroy relationships.
🛑 Emotional wounds can distort communication.
🛑 Gossip and bitterness create unhealthy atmospheres.
🛑 Healing and discernment must work together.
🛑 Intimacy with God brings clarity and peace.
🛑 Freedom and healing are possible through Christ.

Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the victory we have through Jesus Christ.
Lord, expose every area of pride, confusion, offense, bitterness, insecurity, and emotional chaos operating in my life.
Heal every wound, rejection, trauma, and misunderstanding affecting my relationships and communication.
Help me to walk in humility, wisdom, discernment, emotional maturity, and truth.
Break every cycle of confusion, division, accusation, and strife operating around my life.
Renew my mind and help me stay rooted in Your Word and led by the Holy Spirit.
Fill my heart with peace and clarity.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

With love and blessings,
Yours in Christ,

WHY MANY DELIVERANCE SESSIONS FAIL AND WHY THE PROBLEM KEEPS COMING BACK!

Pause and read this slowly.

Many people have prayed.
Many have fasted.
Many have gone from one deliverance ground to another.
Many have attended powerful programs, felt something leave, cried, fell under anointing, yet after some time, the same problem returns.

So the question is real.
Why is nothing changing?

Here is the truth many people are not told.

Deliverance can remove a spirit, but it cannot force a transformation.

This is where many people miss it.

Jesus made it very clear in Matthew 12:43 to 45 that when an unclean spirit leaves a person, it goes and later returns. And when it comes back and finds the place empty, it brings even more spirits, and the condition becomes worse than before.

Notice that word.
Empty.

This is the deepest issue.

Many people focus on casting out, but they do not focus on filling up.

You cannot cast out darkness and leave a vacuum.
Something will always return to occupy that space.

So what are the real reasons deliverance is not working long term?

The first truth is this.

There is no transformation of the mind.

Romans 12:2 says be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
If your thinking remains the same, your life will remain the same.
Spirits operate through patterns.
If the pattern is still there, the door is still open.

You may cast out the spirit of addiction, but if the mindset that feeds the addiction is still alive, it will come back.

The second truth.

Hidden doors are still open.

Some people want freedom, but they are still holding onto certain things.
Unforgiveness.
Secret sin.
Toxic relationships.
Things they are not ready to let go of.

Deliverance does not work where there is agreement with darkness.

Ephesians 4:27 says give no place to the devil.
That means it is possible to give him access.

The third truth.

Dependence on men instead of God.

Some people run from one minister to another, one program to another, but they have not built a personal relationship with God.

Deliverance is not meant to replace your walk with God.
It is meant to help you start it.

If you do not learn how to stand spiritually by yourself, you will keep falling back.

The fourth truth.

Lack of spiritual discipline.

Freedom must be maintained.

Prayer is not an event, it is a lifestyle.
The word of God is not something you hear occasionally, it must live inside you.

Matthew 4:4 says man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

If you are not feeding your spirit, something else will.

The fifth truth.

Wrong expectations.

Some people expect instant and permanent change without process.
But even after deliverance, there is a journey of growth.

God delivers, but you must also walk in that freedom daily.

The sixth truth.

Cycles and patterns that were never broken at the root.

Some issues are deeper than what is seen physically.
They are tied to habits, family patterns, and long standing behaviors.

Deliverance can break spiritual oppression, but if the root pattern is not confronted, it grows again.

Now here is the key.

Deliverance is not the end.
It is the beginning.

After deliverance, your life must be filled with the presence of God, the word of God, discipline, and obedience.

If not, the cycle continues.

Teaching summary

Deliverance removes, but transformation sustains.
An empty life invites old problems back.
Renew your mind daily.
Close every open door.
Build a real relationship with God.
Stay consistent in prayer and the word.
Do not depend only on external help.
Take responsibility for your spiritual growth.

This is the truth many people ignore, and that is why they remain in cycles.

If this message speaks to you, do not ignore it.

SOUL TIES ARE REAL, BUT MANY PEOPLE DO NOT UNDERSTAND THEM !

One of the deepest invisible connections a person can experience is what many call a soul tie. Some people think it is just emotional attachment, but the truth is, certain relationships leave deep spiritual, emotional, and mental imprints on a person’s life.

Have you ever wondered why some people struggle to move on from certain relationships even after many years?

Why do some people still feel emotionally connected to someone who already left them long ago?

Why do some people keep returning to toxic relationships they know are destroying them?

Why do some people suddenly lose peace, focus, spiritual strength, or emotional stability after connecting deeply with the wrong person?

Not every connection is ordinary.

The Bible may not use the exact modern phrase “soul tie,” but Scripture clearly reveals that souls can become deeply joined together through relationships, covenant, love, intimacy, and unhealthy attachments.

First Corinthians 6:16 says,

“He which is joined to an harlot is one body… for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.”

This verse shows that sexual intimacy is not just physical. It creates a deep connection. Many people enter relationships carelessly without understanding that certain connections can affect emotions, thinking patterns, spiritual sensitivity, and even personal peace.

Genesis 2:24 says,

“A man shall leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh.”

God designed deep soul connection for marriage. When people create these deep bonds outside God’s order, confusion, pain, emotional bo***ge, and spiritual struggles can follow.

Not every soul tie is evil.

Some soul ties are healthy and godly.

David and Jonathan shared a powerful covenant friendship.

First Samuel 18:1 says,

“The soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.”

This was not sexual. It was deep loyalty, love, covenant, and friendship.

Healthy soul ties can encourage spiritual growth, wisdom, peace, and godliness.

But ungodly soul ties can pull people away from God, destroy discernment, weaken spiritual life, and create emotional bo***ge.

Many people today are emotionally trapped because they are carrying unhealthy attachments from past relationships, toxic friendships, manipulative mentors, immoral connections, or abusive environments.

Some people cannot pray properly anymore because their heart is still tied to someone who keeps pulling them backward emotionally and spiritually.

Others are physically separated from someone, but mentally and emotionally still controlled by memories, obsession, pain, guilt, fear, or unhealthy desire.

This is why discernment matters.

Not everybody who enters your life should have access to your soul.

Proverbs 4:23 says,

“Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.”

Who you connect with deeply matters.

Who you listen to matters.

Who you become emotionally vulnerable with matters.

Who you give your body to matters.

Some connections bring healing.

Some connections bring destruction.

This is why believers must stop treating relationships casually.

Soul ties can form through sexual intimacy, deep emotional dependency, manipulation, unhealthy submission, repeated emotional exposure, traumatic bonding, or ungodly covenant relationships.

Sometimes the signs of unhealthy soul ties include:

Constant obsession over a person

Feeling spiritually drained after interacting with them

Loss of peace and emotional stability

Difficulty letting go even when the relationship is harmful

Fear of displeasing the person more than displeasing God

Loss of spiritual focus

Emotional confusion and bo***ge

Repeated return to toxic cycles

But the good news is this.

God can heal broken souls.

God can restore emotional stability.

God can break unhealthy bo***ge.

Psalm 147:3 says,

“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”

Healing begins with honesty.

Some people are praying for freedom while still feeding toxic connections.

Sometimes deliverance starts with separation.

Sometimes healing starts with repentance.

Sometimes restoration starts with surrendering every emotional idol to God.

Second Corinthians 6:14 says,

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers.”

Not every relationship is safe for your spiritual future.

As believers, we must stop allowing loneliness to push us into dangerous emotional attachments.

A relationship without peace, wisdom, purity, truth, and God’s direction can slowly damage a person internally.

The Holy Spirit must be involved in our relationships, friendships, dating life, marriage decisions, and emotional connections.

Love without discernment can become bo***ge.

Attachment without wisdom can become destruction.

Strong feelings alone are not proof that God is involved.

Sometimes what people call love is actually emotional captivity.

God wants His people free, whole, spiritually healthy, and emotionally stable.

TEACHING SUMMARY

Soul ties are deep emotional, spiritual, and relational connections that can influence a person positively or negatively.

Godly connections can strengthen, encourage, and build spiritual growth, while ungodly connections can create emotional bo***ge, confusion, and spiritual weakness.

The Bible teaches believers to guard their hearts, walk in discernment, and avoid unhealthy relationships that pull them away from God.

Healing from toxic attachments is possible through repentance, wisdom, separation from harmful influences, prayer, and surrender to God.

Not every emotional connection is from God, and believers must learn to seek God’s wisdom before giving people deep access to their heart and life.

THE POWER OF THE BLOOD
Life, Covenant, and Redemption

You cannot understand the Bible… without understanding the blood.

From Genesis to Revelation, one truth echoes through eternity:
Blood is not just physical—it is spiritual, covenantal, and eternal.

1. Blood Represents Life

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood…” — Leviticus 17:11

Blood is not merely a biological fluid—it is God’s ordained carrier of life.
When blood is shed, life is released.

This is why sin is so serious.
Sin brings death… and death demands a price.

From the very beginning, when Adam and Eve fell, God did something profound:

He shed blood to cover them (Genesis 3:21).

Before there was forgiveness… there was sacrifice.

2. Blood Establishes Covenant

Throughout Scripture, covenants are sealed in blood.

When God made a covenant with Abraham, animals were cut and laid apart (Genesis 15).
This wasn’t symbolic—it was binding.

In ancient times, to enter covenant meant:
“If I break this, let my life be required.”

Blood says:
This is not temporary. This is life-binding.

3. Blood Covers Sin

“Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” — Hebrews 9:22

In the Old Testament, sacrifices were constant:

Lambs
Bulls
Goats

On the Day of Atonement, blood was sprinkled for the sins of the people.

But here’s the truth:

Animal blood could cover sin… but never remove it.

It was a shadow—pointing forward to something greater.

4. The Blood of Jesus Changes Everything

“Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” — John 1:29

When Jesus Christ came, He didn’t bring another sacrifice—
He became the sacrifice.

At the cross:

His blood was not symbolic
His blood was not temporary
His blood was perfect, sinless, and eternal

Unlike animal sacrifices, His blood doesn’t just cover sin—
It removes it.

“The blood of Jesus… cleanses us from all sin.” — 1 John 1:7

5. The Blood Speaks

“The blood of Jesus speaks a better word…” — Hebrews 12:24

In Genesis 4, the blood of Abel cried out for justice.

But the blood of Jesus speaks something greater:

Not judgment… but mercy
Not condemnation… but forgiveness
Not death… but life

The blood still speaks today.

6. The Blood Gives Access to God

“We have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus.” — Hebrews 10:19

Before Christ:

Only priests could enter
Only once a year
With fear and trembling

Now?

Because of His blood:

We can come boldly
We can draw near
We can stand forgiven

The veil has been torn.

7. The Blood Secures Eternal Redemption

“He entered once for all… by His own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.” — Hebrews 9:12

This is not temporary salvation.
This is not partial forgiveness.

The blood of Jesus secures:

Redemption
Justification
Reconciliation

Forever.

DECLARATION

The blood was not wasted.
The cross was not a tragedy—it was a victory.

You are not trying to earn forgiveness—
You are standing in what the blood has already accomplished.

TAKEAWAY

The blood of Jesus is the foundation of your salvation, your access to God, and your eternal hope.

CALL TO ACTION

God is speaking—are you listening?
If you believe in the power of the blood, comment “COVERED BY THE BLOOD”.

The enemy rarely announces his arrival.
He does not always come through obvious sins, loud rebellion, or visible destruction. Sometimes, he enters quietly — through the small cracks we ignore in our character. A little pride. A hidden bitterness. Unforgiveness. Compromise. Secret temptation. Carelessness in prayer. These tiny fractures may seem harmless at first, but over time they become open doors for darkness to creep in.

The devil studies weakness. He searches for the areas we refuse to surrender to God. He knows that if he cannot destroy you immediately, he will slowly weaken your convictions, corrupt your thoughts, and harden your heart little by little. That is why spiritual vigilance matters. The greatest battles are often won or lost in private long before they are seen in public.

A strong character is built in secret — through prayer, humility, obedience, and daily surrender to God. The enemy cannot easily break a person who is deeply rooted in Christ. When your heart is guarded by truth, temptation loses its power. When your life is surrendered to God, the cracks begin to heal.

Do not ignore the small compromises. What you tolerate today can become the stronghold that imprisons you tomorrow. Ask God to examine your heart, expose every hidden weakness, and restore every broken place within you. Because holiness is not about appearing strong before people — it is about being whole before God.

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” — Proverbs 4:23

𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓
Encounter… Emotion… or Manifestation of Power?

Few topics in the church generate as much debate as being “slain in the Spirit.” Some have experienced it. Others question it. But the real issue is not the experience itself—

It is whether Scripture supports it.

1. WHEN GOD’S PRESENCE OVERWHELMS HUMAN STRENGTH

Throughout the Bible, when God reveals Himself, human strength collapses.

When Daniel encountered divine revelation:

“No strength remained in me… I fell into a deep sleep with my face to the ground.” (Daniel 10:8–9)

When Saul met God’s power:

“He fell to the ground and heard a voice…” (Acts 9:4)

And when soldiers came to arrest Jesus Christ:

“They drew back and fell to the ground.” (John 18:6)

These were not emotional reactions.
They were responses to divine presence.

2. THE WEIGHT OF GLORY (KABOD)

The Hebrew word for glory is כָּבוֹד (kābôd)—meaning weight.

When God’s glory fills a place, it is not light—it is heavy.

In 2 Chronicles 5:14:

“The priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud…”

They didn’t fall because someone pushed them.
They couldn’t stand because God’s presence overwhelmed them.

3. NEW TESTAMENT PATTERN: POWER RELEASED THROUGH TOUCH

In the ministry of Jesus Christ, power was tangible:

“Power went out from Him and healed them all.” (Luke 6:19)

And through the apostles:

“…through the laying on of hands, the Holy Spirit was given…” (Acts 8:17)

There is a transfer of power—but Scripture emphasizes what is received, not how someone falls.

4. NOT EVERY FALL IS FROM GOD

Here’s where discernment is critical.

The Bible never commands believers to “fall down” as proof of the Spirit.

Some fall:

Because of genuine encounter
Others because of expectation or pressure
And some because of emotional hype

Even Simon the Sorcerer was drawn to power—but his heart was wrong (Acts 8:18–21).

The manifestation is not the measure—

Transformation is.

5. THE REAL QUESTION: WHAT HAPPENS AFTER?

You can fall under power… and still rise unchanged.

But when it is truly God:

Bondages break
Hearts soften
Lives transform

The goal of the Spirit is not to make you fall—
It is to make you new.

✨ FINAL WORD

“Slain in the Spirit” is not a doctrine to chase—
it is a possible response to encountering God’s power.

But don’t seek the floor…

Seek His presence.

Because when God truly touches a life—
it won’t just affect your body for a moment—

It will mark your spirit forever.
