The City of Orlando - Government has an opening for a Heavy Equipment Technician I/II (Automotive/Fleet). This position performs skilled mechanical work analyzing and diagnosing problems; inspecting, replacing and/or repairing defective parts, and performing preventative maintenance on City automobiles, tractors, mowers, trucks, street sweepers, fire trucks and equipment, police cars and/or motorcycles and small engines. This position assigns, oversees work and trains lower lever mechanics as needed.
