Helpertunity was honored to be able to deliver Busy Bags to the Activity Director at AdventHealth CareCenter in Apopka, Florida today. Mr. Fanklin was grateful to receive a combination of both our Designer/Fashion Busy Bags, as well as our Basic/Donor-Made Busy Bags; so that the wide range of residents in his facility could each keep appropriate activity resources and smart-phones more easily within reach, especially during this time of limited patient interaction. Each bag was sorted, cut, color-coordinated, kit-packed, sewn, embellished, quality-checked, washed, sanitized, pressed, laundry-labeled, and packaged for delivery by Helpertunity's AMAZING teams of volunteers! Helpertunity is also continuing to perfect, and personally field-test, its pattern and fabric selections for the safest and most effective re-usable sewn face-masks to deliver to the facility's Activities Director & Quality of Life Staff in the weeks ahead. We hope and pray that ALL dedicated volunteers and staff stay healthy, and are able to continue their valuable caregiving efforts, throughout this unprecedented pandemic, and can continue to care for their blessed elderly and disabled clients.
