New research is helping reshape how we think about epilepsy treatment. 🧠 A study from Southwest Jiaotong University found that targeted thermal therapy may work by disrupting harmful seizure networks in the brain—not just removing tissue—offering hope for people living with drug-resistant epilepsy.

New research from Northwestern University is exploring how RNA therapy could one day treat certain forms of epilepsy before seizures even begin. 🧠 By targeting abnormal brain activity during pregnancy, researchers hope to reduce long-term neurological damage and improve outcomes for children with severe genetic epilepsies.
