The Architecture-Engineering Club at Evans High School was invited to attend a specialized tour of the University of Central Florida’s College of Engineering and Computer Science. During this event, nine (9) Trojans, along with students from Econ River High School, were able to engage with notable Department faculty like Dr. Ali Gordon and current UCF students to ask questions about the university, the department’s research, and particular courses for Engineering and Computer Science majors. Students were also allowed to work with equipment during a demonstration of how pressure can alter the shape and structure of different materials. Our Trojans who have committed to attend UCF in Summer and Fall left the tour with great excitement and anticipation of their upcoming years as a Knight.
