“Summers are hard. I had four kids and having them all home at once during the summer was tough. They need to be fed breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner.”

Healthy snacks are where she’s focusing on a lot of her efforts this year.

With the 2026 Atlantic Hurricane Season starting tomorrow, it's time for Central Florida to get prepared! 🌧️

➡️Here are the food bank's 4 Tips to Be Prepared:
1. Store a 3-day supply of non-perishable foods.
2. Gather essential non-food items like first-aid kits, medications, flashlights and batteries.
3. Think about individual needs, including babies, adults and pets.
4. Stock up on water - one gallon per person per day.
