Here’s a good reminder for my students! In high school they will often use the symbol only to represent the different sets of numbers, so it’s good to review now so you know which numbers the teacher is discussing :)

To all of those students that hate word problems - you are not alone! These are the most hated problems amongst students for decades and the SAT/ACT is filled with them 😕 However, there are only so many ways a problem can be worded and with enough practice you will come to recognize them immediately 🙂

Call me today and let’s get started on practicing some word problems together!

Getting the intervals right for this AP Pre-Calculus question without graphing help requires one to truly understand what's going on in the problem! The student made a small mistake on his quiz and coat him a point, so we went over what's actually happening here.

Understanding the problems is especially important for Calculus, so make sure to get a tutor that doesn't teach you how to simply memorize steps!

If you - or anyone you know - is looking for a patient and kind tutor, then please send them our way!
