Connection, reflection, and shared purpose.

This week, our CEO Brad Butterstein attended AdventHealth’s Gathered in Grace: A Community Prayer Breakfast, a meaningful gathering centered on partnership, compassion, and caring for the whole person. 🤝 The room was filled with community partners and leaders working to make Orlando and Central Florida a better place for all.

Thank you to for being an exceptional partner and for bringing so many people together in support of our neighbors.

No one should start a new chapter alone. 🏠💙

Thanks to generous support through the Helping Hands Fund, 10 households received Welcome Home Kits during the month of May as they transitioned into permanent housing. Each kit included brand-new household essentials like pots and pans, dishes, towels, cleaning supplies, sheet sets, and more to help make a new space feel safe, stable, and welcoming from day one. We were also able to provide two households with portable cribs, helping ensure their babies had a safe and comfortable place to sleep.

These moments remind us that housing is not just about securing an address. It is about making sure individuals and families feel cared for, supported, and not alone as they begin a new chapter.

𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄? 💡

Research shows that 50% of children under age four who are experiencing homelessness have developmental delays, which is three to four times higher than children who are not experiencing homelessness.

At the Coalition, our Preschool helps provide early learning, developmental support, and trauma-informed care for our youngest guests. Children make up 40% of the individuals we serve across our programs and services.

Your support helps children staying with us receive the care they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

Our on-campus preschool playground received a much-appreciated upgrade thanks to our friends at AllGen Financial. Their team joined us at the Coalition to donate and build new playground equipment for our preschool-aged guests.

Big news for our youngest guests! 🧸

We are proud to share that our Early Childhood Department has officially transitioned from a Day Care model to a fully recognized Preschool.

Now recognized by the Early Learning Coalition as a high-quality preschool, our program is certified to provide Voluntary Prekindergarten services to families participating in the School Readiness program. We have also been identified as a Trauma-Informed Preschool, reflecting the care, professionalism, and compassion our team brings to children and families each day.

For almost two years, Twila Wilson has served as a Guest Support Professional, helping guests access essential items with care, dignity, and compassion.

From hygiene products to diapers, socks, and first-aid supplies, Twila plays an important role in making sure everyday needs are met for the individuals and families staying on our campus. 📦

Thank you for helping care for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

This past April, our Coalition team came together for a month-long Heart of Florida United Way campaign filled with connection, generosity, and plenty of fun. 🙌

From our snack cart and food trucks to bingo, pizza day, a bake sale, and our Masquerade Party finale, every moment helped bring our team together in support of an incredible cause.

Our goal was $8,000, and thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our staff, we raised more than $10,000!
