Will we continue to divide or will we remember we said we would never forget?

First off, everybody was OK. This happened off Portsmouth, New Hampshire, just outside the Piscataqua River mouth. I think this is a humpback, and it was apparently blinded by a thick school of pogies it was feeding on. Apparently the whales have even been chasing them up the river a bit. It’s the sign of a strong fishery, but I’m sure that was the last thing these guys were thinking about as 55,000 pounds of blubber blotted out the sun. On the bright side they get the story of a lifetime, so there’s that. Hopefully they have good insurance.

Counseling Professionals of Orlando, LLC is providing free counseling and crisis management services for all first responders, emergency room/hospital staff, LEOs, victim advocates/mental health professionals, and any individuals who are in need of support due to the tragic events that have unfolded.

Our office is located in Downtown Orlando at 1216 E. Concord Street Orlando, FL 32803 (we are 1/2 a mile from The Center and Zebra Coalition).

Today (Sunday, 6/12), counselors will be on-site until midnight. Starting tomorrow, we will have counselors on-site from 8:00am-12:00am (midnight) Monday (6/13) through Sunday (6/19). After Sunday (6/19), we will adjust our schedule, according to those in need.
