I worked on bringing affordable housing to Orange County for 8 years. Legislators in Tallahassee blocked it with SB 180. Effectively nullifying the ability to build new housing. There’s never been a more important time in history for housing. It’s time we speak up.

We spent this weekend knocking on doors. Congressman Maxwell Frost’s team joined us in talking to our future constituents. This campaign is built by the people I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with. We’ve lost our law-makers to special interests and the billionaire class. Right now, our government is up in flames. Fire rescue may be on the way, but someone needs to step up and run inside with a bucket of water till then. Right now, that building is the state capital and I’m compelled to try to help.

Affordability isn’t a left vs. right issue, it’s a top vs. bottom one. The lawmakers in power are happy letting the people with billions spend their way to victory, but I’m not. We’ll continue to lose Tallahassee to the billionaire class if we don’t speak up when it matters. And it has never mattered more than right now.
