Earlier this month, members of our Honor Guard Unit represented Orange County Corrections at the 2026 Fraternal Order of Police 44th Annual Law Enforcement Officers’ Memorial Service in Tallahassee.
We stood with agencies and community members from across the state to honor those who gave everything in their service to others. We were grateful to attend this state memorial service and continue to honor the memory of our fallen officers each day.

We were proud to attend and sponsor the Legacy of Champions Luncheon hosted by the Mental Health Association of Central Florida as we close out .🧠
The annual event brings together local leaders and advocates to highlight the state of mental health and raise funds to support free mental healthcare for individuals in the region - a cause important to our department and that we are proud to continue to support.

Deputy Chief Julien and Manager Beason proudly represented the Orange County Corrections at the MAN UP 2026 Career Exploration Fair, where they had the opportunity to engage with young men from various high schools across our community.✅
They highlighted the wide range of career opportunities within Corrections—both certified and civilian—while also taking time to share their personal career journeys, lessons learned, and what it takes to succeed in public service.
Most importantly, they offered encouragement, real-world insight, and practical guidance to help keep them focused, motivated, and moving in the right direction. Thank you for your investment in the next generation!

Congratulations to Corporal Hall on being named our May Super Star!⭐
Corporal Hall doesn’t shy away from delicate situations. She continuously goes above and beyond to support those with mental health issues and ensure they get the care and support needed.
Mental health is an ongoing challenge, as 46% of our inmates have a mental health diagnosis. It’s especially fitting that Corporal Hall is being recognized as this month’s Super Star since May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Corporal Hall started her career as a Correctional Officer with OCCD in February of 2007. She was promoted to Corporal in November 2021. She worked at FDC and Phoenix, and then returned to FDC in December 2021, where she is currently located. Kudos to Corporal Hall for a job well done.
