Fantastic news right in time for the holidays. Team W and Team A both qualified for the State Championship. Team W qualified through their robot skills ranking, and Team A won the Design Award at last weekend’s competition. Wish them both luck at state!

We’re back! We started the season off with a Bang! Team W were the Tournament Finalists at Roboticon in Tampa this weekend. They also won the Think Award. Please help me congratulate them on a great start to the season.

A new record! Yesterday, four of our teams qualified for the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, TX. This will be the 12th year in a row that our teams have gotten the opportunity to compete at this level. The state championship is always full of twists and surprises, and yesterday was no exception. One of our rookie teams, Team X, made it all the way to the finals earning them a spot at the world championship in their first year on the team. Team B who already qualified for the world championship in January won the Build Award at the state championship. Both Team F and Team D qualified for the world championship through their high robot skills scores that they earned at the state championship yesterday. Team D also received the sportsmanship award. All of our teams performed exceptionally well, and it was a fun competition. Please help me congratulate our teams, and wish them luck at worlds.

Team D won the tournament at Apopka High School and was 1st in the qualifying rounds. Team F was 2nd in robot skills. Team G won the tournament at FAMU and also received the Judges Award. Because of this win, Team G qualified for the state championship. Team A is also now qualified for the state championship through their robot skills ranking. All 7 Bangarang teams are now qualified for the state championship this Sunday. We currently have the most teams of any FL organization competing at the state championship. Please help me congratulate our teams for a great season and wish them luck at state.

We hosted one of the last competitions of the season last Saturday at TC. Our teams performed exceptionally well. Team B won the tournament and the Think Award. They had to play against Team F and Team A during the final round. It was really exciting to have 3 teams in the finals. Team D won the Design Award which qualified them for the State Championship. Wish them luck at state. Team X won the Innovate Award. Team F won the Amaze Award. Four of our teams also ranked in the top 5 for Robot Skills. 2nd-5th place (Team D, Team B, Team C, TeamF). It was a fun and exciting competition.

We had some of our older former team members come back to help us out during the competition (Melinda Ramos, Dominic Schnaath, Rose Moskowitz, Morgan Tyler, Leah Wendland, Brian Oribe, Joe Dale, Will Lovelace, and Zach Pavel. It was great hearing about the awesome things they are doing now in their careers and in college.

We now have 5 of our teams competing at the state championship in a few weeks, and there is one last competition today. Wish everyone luck.

Team C qualified for the state championship at a competition in Interlachen, Florida. They were 1st in the qualifying rounds, 3rd in Robot Skills, and were tournament finalists. Wish them luck at state.

We had two more teams qualify for state last weekend - Team F and rookie Team X. These two teams have a special relationship as Team F is the mentor team of Team X. Team F competed in Tampa and won the Think Award and got 2nd place in Robot Skills. Team X competed in Clermont and won the tournament and the Innovate Award. Team B also competed in Clermont and won the Excellence Award. Please help me congratulate these teams and wish them luck at state.

I promised some BIG news earlier this week, and now…it…is….time.
Team B won the Sugar Rush Signature Event held in Hersey PA! Because of this win, they are now qualified for the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, TX later this season. Please help me congratulate them. They have been on fire this entire season, and we are very proud of them. Wish them luck at worlds.

Time to get you all caught up from the last two months. Please help me congratulate our teams. In November, Team A completed at PHSC and won the Build Award. In December, Team B won the tournament at Neocity Academy and also received the Excellence Award. Team B also received the Excellence Award at Apopka HS and were the Robot Skills Champions. Team D received the Judges Award at Apopka HS and also received the Think Award at Roboticon in Tampa.

Team B wins big at Apopka HS last Saturday! They were the Tournament Champions, #1 in the qualifying rounds, and they won the Excellence Award which is given to the top team at the competition. Please help me congratulate them on their achievement.
