What we witnessed at our Project EMPATH Leadership Luncheon was more than a networking event. It was a room filled with people who believe our communities deserve better systems, better collaboration, and better outcomes.

Thank you to every leader, advocate, healthcare professional, partner, sponsor, and supporter who joined us to learn more about our vision for integrated Housing-as-Healthcare.

At Project EMPATH, we are building more than housing.
We are building a sustainable ecosystem where housing, behavioral health, healthcare coordination, community support, and dignity work together to create long-term stability and healing.

This luncheon reminded me that we are not alone in this mission. The support, conversations, and partnerships forming around EMPATH continue to show that Central Florida is ready for innovative, collaborative, and outcome-driven solutions.

A special thank you to:
• Aetna Better Health of Florida for believing in our mission and becoming one of our first sponsors
• Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce for their continued support and leadership
• Anna Eskamani for attending and supporting community-centered innovation
• The District GastroBar for generously hosting us and creating such an incredible experience
• Our entire Board of Directors, Advisory Board, volunteers, speakers, and strategic partners who continue helping turn this vision into reality

This is only the beginning.

Housing is Healthcare.
Dignity is Non-Negotiable.

A huge thank you to Representative for taking the time to attend our private Project EMPATH Leadership Luncheon yesterday. Your presence and continued advocacy for affordable housing, mental health, and community-centered solutions means so much to us.

At Project EMPATH, we believe that Housing is Healthcare and Dignity is Non-Negotiable — and it was an honor to share our vision with leaders who genuinely care about creating lasting change in Central Florida.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect and look forward to future collaboration as we continue building integrated solutions for individuals and families navigating housing instability, mental health challenges, and barriers to care.

Thank you again for your support, Anna. 💙

Yesterday’s Project EMPATH Leadership Luncheon was a reminder that meaningful change happens through relationships, shared vision, and people willing to believe in something before it becomes easy.

A heartfelt thank you to Chris Norcott and Aetna Better Health of Florida for not only attending our luncheon, but for becoming Project EMPATH’s very first sponsor with a $2,500 contribution toward our mission.

What means the most is not simply the sponsorship itself — it is the relationship we have been cultivating over the past two years and the belief in what we are building together. Chris has watched Project EMPATH grow from an idea into a mission actively creating solutions around housing instability, behavioral health, and integrated care here in Central Florida.

At Project EMPATH, we believe:
Housing is Healthcare. Dignity is Non-Negotiable.

We are grateful to have partners who understand that real community impact requires collaboration, innovation, and long-term commitment.

Thank you again to Chris and Aetna Better Health for believing in our vision and standing with us as we continue building a more connected, compassionate, and outcomes-driven model of care.

We are incredibly grateful to The for hosting our Project EMPATH Leadership Luncheon.

Not only was the food absolutely amazing, but their generosity in donating the space and supporting our mission meant more than words can express. It takes community partners who truly believe in people and possibility to help movements like ours grow.

Thank you for welcoming our guests, our supporters, and our vision with such warmth and hospitality. We are honored to have shared this special day with you.

Housing is Healthcare. Dignity is Non-Negotiable. 💙

Today, we honor the mothers, grandmothers, foster mothers, stepmothers, and every woman who shows up with love, sacrifice, strength, and compassion every single day. 💚

At Project EMPATH, we know that stable homes, healing environments, and supportive communities begin with the care and resilience of women who nurture others even through their own challenges.

To every mother figure in our community:
Thank you for your strength.
Thank you for your love.
Thank you for the lives you continue to shape.

You are seen.
You are valued.
You are deeply appreciated.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Project EMPATH. 🧡

Housing is Healthcare, and Dignity is Non-Negotiable.

Project EMPATH had the honor of tabling at the 20th Anniversary of NAMI Alliance on Mental Illness Walk here in Orlando—and I’m just really grateful. Thank you to Anicia Vicente and Mileidy Daniel for your passion and commitment to our mission.

Grateful for every person who stopped by.
Grateful for every story shared.
Grateful to be in a space where people are showing up for mental health with honesty and courage.

And I want to give a very real, heartfelt thank you to Freddy Morello Jr.

Freddy is not only the CEO of NAMI here in Orlando—he’s also part of our EMPATH family.

This work is personal.

When you sit across from families who are trying to hold it together… when you hear what people are navigating behind closed doors… you can’t separate mental health from stability.

You can’t separate it from housing.

You can’t separate it from dignity.

That’s why we say it the way we do: Housing is healthcare. Dignity is non-negotiable.

We’re not here to just talk about change—we’re here to build it, with the right people, in the right rooms, having the right conversations.

Today was a reminder that we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be.

And we’re just getting started.

Grateful for meaningful conversations at the ONIC Luncheon—bringing together leaders committed to advancing affordable housing in our community.
It was an honor to have Ray Scott on our board of directors, whose 50+ years of experience in architecture and development continue to shape how we think about building with purpose.
At Project EMPATH, we believe affordable housing is only part of the solution.
What we’re building goes further—integrating housing with healthcare, behavioral health services, and real pathways to stability.
Because housing alone doesn’t solve the crisis…
But housing paired with the right support systems does.
Conversations like this reinforce that we’re not building in isolation—we’re part of a larger movement working to create sustainable, dignified solutions for the people who need them most.
Housing is Healthcare.
Dignity is Non-Negotiable.

Happy Birthday to one of the most solid, intelligent, and trustworthy women I know. 🤍

Some people come into your life for a season.
And some people come into your life to help you build the thing you were called to create.

Anicia Vicente is that for me.

Before EMPATH was what it is becoming now… before the plans, the structure, the strategy, the meetings, and the vision started taking shape — I already knew the kind of woman she was.

Professional.
Grounded.
Wise.
Calm under pressure.
Loyal.
And deeply capable.

But more than all of that… she is a woman of integrity and someone who supported this massive vision from day 1. She was the first person I approached with this idea before it had a name. She never questioned how we would bring this idea to life. She said what do you need from me.

And that means everything to me.

We’ve been friends for over 10 years, and one of the greatest gifts has been watching life bring us full circle — not just in friendship, but in purpose.

To now be building something this meaningful together is something I’ll never take lightly.

Because she is not just my friend.
She is not just my business partner.
She is not just my Co-Founder.

She is someone I trust deeply.
Someone I respect fully.
And someone I’m incredibly grateful to do life and vision with.

Where I may carry the fire, the vision, and the heart —
she carries the structure, discernment, steadiness, and operational strength that helps turn vision into something real.

And that kind of person is rare.

She helps hold the weight of something much bigger than both of us.
And she does it with strength, grace, and excellence.

So today, I just want to honor you.

Happy Birthday, Anicia.
Thank you for being the woman, friend, and leader that you are.
Thank you for believing in this vision.
Thank you for helping me carry it.
And thank you for being such an important part of what we are building through EMPATH — Empowering Mental, Physical And Therapeutic Health Housing.

I pray this next year over your life is filled with peace, alignment, favor, joy, abundance, and everything your heart has quietly been praying for. 🤍

You deserve to be celebrated in a big way.
Love you
