The Community Seal

We provide a one-stop online platform for local businesses, non-profits and individuals to communicate, raise money, donate, volunteer, and positively affect change in their communities. They share stories, critical needs, events, opportunities and available resources on an easy-to-use website that offers a variety of tools and options to make it easier to give back and keep track of their giving. The Community Seal programs include networking, volunteering, fundraising, a community calendar, give back reward programs, and business tools to build a social responsibility program. Member benefits include greater community involvement and social impact, consumer and employee awareness and loyalty, and additional resources for local non-profits. We work with local community foundations, non-profits, universities, chambers of commerce, and philanthropy centers to build membership, provide professional assistance and tools, and create standards for giving practices. We grant our “seal of approval” to members that meet this standard of giving and are committed to investing in their community. Businesses | One stop for social responsibility
Through The Community Seal, business members develop and manage their social responsibility programs. They connect with non-profits that serve purposes and people they care about, get involved in the community, and positively impact the lives of others. Outcomes include strengthened communities; increased brand awareness; higher employee retention; and increased customer loyalty. Our Business Toolbox includes company and employee giving tracking and reporting; employee volunteer and matching programs; give back consumer reward programs; community networking and events; business listings, marketing and sponsorship opportunities on a large, local platform; and tools and assistance with social responsibility programs. Annual membership fees, priced to fit any budget, are based on number of employees, but businesses can get started for free with a Basic Membership. Individuals | Support the community
We help individuals connect with causes they care about – through their employer and for themselves and their families. Programs include a one-stop listing of community events, non-profits, and community needs; volunteer and networking opportunities; give back programs for everyday purchases; listing of companies that give back for “shopping with purpose”; and online fundraisers for trusted non-profits. Our Giving Tracker tool helps people track and report their giving for taxes, scholarship volunteer hours and family goals. Non-profits | Grow community support
On our online platform, non-profit members grow their local supporter base through multi-channel outreach and engagement activities. They connect with business and individual members who are committed to giving back to their community. Our programs help non-profits attract and connect with supporters, run volunteer campaigns and communicate critical needs. They also gain new funding sources including business giving programs, give back programs, and fundraiser events. Non-profit membership is free, but donations are subject to a small handling fee. To participate, non-profits must be included in the Central Florida Foundation’s non-profit database.
