Please stay away from the area of the Osage elevator as crews attempt to get the fire under control. The Osage Co-Op Elevator advises they cannot accept grain at this time as the electricity has been shut off.

Fall Leaf Clean-Up 2026 for City of Osage

Leaves should be placed into the street by 7 am beginning the week of October 19, 2026 and continuing every Monday through November 25, 2026.

Leaves must be raked into wind-rows on the outer edge of the street approximately TWO FEET away from the curb line. DO NOT PILE LEAVES.

Do not park vehicles within 50-feet of wind-rowed leaves.

The City will NOT pick up leaves in bags or containers.

DO NOT place sticks, twigs, or brush in the leaves. If there is anything more than leaves in the pile, the truck will not pick it up.

This is a service most cities do not offer. Misuse will result in discontinuation.

The Water Department will be flushing hydrants in Wards 1 & 2 on Monday & Tuesday September 28-29; Wards 3 & 4 on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday September 30, October 1-2.

This weekend is Autumn Artistry. Many (MANY!) people will be visiting our beautiful town. Please mow tall grass; cut down the weeds & overgrown shrubs by the house & garage; pick up any garbage that may have accumulated; take any furniture that is by the curb to the FMC Landfill. If your neighbor needs assistance, help them out - let's all work together.
