Huge shout out to the Hard Rock Car Wash! If you are attending tonight’s 32nd Annual Fire fair and would like your kiddos’ car seats checked, education regarding installation, etc.. Swing by the second bay of the hard rock car wash, just north of the fire station! This will allow us to stay dry, no matter the weather status this evening. We look forward to seeing you all!

Each year donors are asked to participate in the National Fire Safety Council drive to raise funds to provide education materials to students. We kicked off Fire Prevention week early with some students by having Firepup read the home fire safety plan book.

We’ve had a busy couple of months around the firehouse!

Our members, along with neighboring departments, have been dedicated to expanding their skills by participating in specialized training, including Trench Rescue and Confined Space Rescue tactics.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Iowa Fire Service Training Bureau for funding this valuable training opportunity, as well as Professional Rescue Innovations - Community Page for providing the instruction and expertise necessary to help prepare our responders for these challenging and technical rescue situations. Along with Revelton Distillery for the use of your facility.

Continued training and education are essential to ensuring we are prepared to serve our communities safely and effectively. We’re proud of the commitment our members and neighboring departments continue to make toward improving their skills and readiness.

Hi friends! As you know, we hold an annual fire fair at the Osceola Fire Dept. We are adding something new this year! Clarke county now has a certified child passenger safety technician so we’re bringing a car seat check to you. Multiple technicians will be on site to help you ensure your child is riding safely. Please bring your car seat manual and vehicle owners manual if you are able.
We WILL have a translator on site as well, so please don’t let a language barrier hold you back.
This will be held during fire fair on Oct 1st from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
Can’t wait to see you there and help keep your littles safe
