Trunk or Treat Reminder!
Dear Old Post Families,
As a reminder, our annual PTA Trunk or Treat is on Friday, October 16, from 6-7 PM in the Old Post parking lot.
Come dressed in your favorite costume, bring your family, and get ready for an evening filled with tricks, treats, creative trunks, and lots of Halloween fun! Be sure to find the QR codes located throughout the parking lot to vote for your favorite trunks!
PARKING INFO: The entire parking lot and drop-off/pickup loop will be closed for event safety. So if you're driving, there will be no parking inside the parking lot or drop-off loop.

Oswego East High School Home Football Expectations
Hello Future Wolves & Families:
We are excited to see students and families at our upcoming crosstown home football game on Friday, 10.16.26. If you have been able to attend an Oswego East game, you have seen the large crowd that supports Wolves Football, Dance, Cheer, and Marching Band. To ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone, we ask all guests to partner with us in following these guidelines. We are looking forward to a great game and ask that everyone practices sportsmanship that reflects the Wolf Way.
Expectations for Everyone:

All students in the 8th grade and younger must have a parent(s) or guardian(s) with them to gain entrance to the game. Parents and guardians will need to be present for the entirety of the game. Junior high and elementary students who are not accompanied by a parent or guardian will not be allowed admittance to the game. No more than three students per adult is our general guideline. Junior High students must sit with their family. Any K-8 student who is not accompanied by an adult will have their parents contacted and be asked to pick their student up.

There is no re-entry to the game.

Please support our Athletic Boosters through concession stand purchases. No outside food or drinks will be allowed

All bags and purses must be clear. Bags that do not meet this requirement will not be allowed.

The walkway in front of the bleachers and in front of the concession stand must remain

clear. Please do not congregate in those areas. Individuals who do so will be asked by staff to clear the area and have a seat.

Aisles in the bleachers must remain clear. Please do not stand or sit on the steps.

Failure to follow expectations will likely result in removal from the game with no refund.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is Fall PICTURE RETAKE DAY!
Just a friendly reminder that Picture Retake Day is tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14! Students who missed the original picture day or need a retake will have the opportunity to have their photos taken.

Old Post Veterans Day Sign Up
Hello from Old Post!
This year at Old Post we are honored to celebrate Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 11, between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. Our special guests are invited to breakfast at 9:00 with their families and then attend a whole-school assembly in their honor beginning at 9:30. We hope a special veteran in your family will be able to attend!
If there is a veteran in your family who would like to join us for our Veterans Day activities, please complete this Form by Wednesday, November 4,2026. If you have multiple veterans who would like to join, please complete the Form for every interested veteran.

Food Drive Message
Dear OP Families
Thank you to those of you who have participated in the food drive. Just a reminder that all donations must be in by noon on Wednesday Oct. 14. We are currently at about 5,000 items donated! If you have not already donated, please do so today. The link for online donations is https://kccfoodpantry.org/sd308/.
We are having a friendly competition between grade levels for donations. In order for your child’s grade level to receive credit for the donation, please send in the form that was sent home last week or any paper with your child’s name, grade, and amount donated. Currently the 4th grade is leading the competition, but several grades are close behind!

Please join all District 308 schools in supporting the Kendall County Food Drive, October 5–14! The food pantry is requesting that we focus our collection on online donations rather than collecting physical items. With monetary donations the food pantry is able to purchase exactly what they need and by buying in bulk they can stretch $1 to provide $8 worth of groceries!

Mrs. Taviani’s kindergarten class had a very busy week. They celebrated custodian appreciation day, had a mystery reader, made letters with their bodies, did some cosmic yoga and had time to have an orange day! 🧡
