Prairie Point Elementary celebrates International Walk to School Month in October by encouraging our students to Walk to School every Wednesday in October (W.O.W. – Walk on Wednesday).

It was a beautiful morning, and we had a fabulous time, as well as a tremendous turnout for our celebration kick-off on the playground. We had 53.9% of our students Walking with Mrs. Studer-Bagan’s 4th grade class winning the Golden Shoe Award with 82.6% of her students walking. 2nd place goes to Mrs. Hoke’s 2nd grade class with 71.4% of her students walking, and 3rd place goes to Mrs. Paluch’s 3rd grade class with 68.2% of her students walking.
