Oswego Indians,
When power went off this morning buses had already begun their routes. Initially we were told that power would be restored by 8 am. That is now not the case. We have been informed the earliest power will be restored is 11:30am and possibly later. Students that have already arrived at school will be kept there. If parents wish to pick up their children they may do so and will not count as a day absent. I do apologize for the late notification but I was told we would be back up by 8 am and assumed that to be true and we would have school as normal. The phones at all district buildings, except SVCA, are out due to the power outage. SVCA power is on because they are supplied by a different power company. Again, I apologize for the late notification but I was operating on the assumption that power would be restored by 8am.
